The most important thing INSTY-PRINTS can do to help you design your project is to work with you from the beginning.

Incomplete and incorrect files will only delay your job.  This will increase your cost and may cause the finished job to be different than you thought it would be.

The solution is easy....work with us!

Before even beginning to produce your document, and during all the work you will put into it, please remember that your effort could be wasted if the product does not reach us in a way that allows us to output it correctly. 

By far the BEST approach to sending us your project, from virtually ANY computer using almost ANY software is to send us your files in the Adobe Acrobat PDF format.   One advantage of using PDF files is that they allow you to see how your file will look when printed.  Another is that they'll look, AND PRINT, the same way once they reach us.

The full Adobe Acrobat program is VERY expensive.  Thankfully, there are FREE options.

Primo PDF is a totally FREE program for high quality PDF creation, comprising a user-friendly interface that enables printing to PDF from virtually any Windows application.  This tool is completely free, not just a trial version, and no user registration is required.

Simply download it below, install it, and when you're project is ready to send, go to your print option and you'll find a new "printer" has been installed.  Obviously this is not REALLY a printer, but it IS the driver to write a .PDF file that you can upload to us.

Pdf 995 is another FREE program that makes it easy to create professional-quality documents in the popular PDF file format. Its easy-to-use interface helps you to create PDF files by simply selecting the "print" command from any application.

Now, it's time to start work on your project. 

REMEMBER:  ALWAYS set the program you are using to produce your PDF to it's highest "For Printing" or "Service Bureau" setting

If you plan to send your project to us as a PDF file then go ahead and design your project.  When you're done you can go to step 5 below to transmit it to us or simply return to the web site and click on File Transfer on our main page.

If you'd rather skip the .PDF issue (which really IS the most simple approach) then PLEASE follow the directions you'll find in the numbered table below.  Start with number 1 and proceed carefully through each step to produce your project and transfer your final files to us for the best possible output.
